Is this you?

We’ve all done it. Bought something because it seemed like a good idea, then either left it in the box or unused collecting dust. Learning how to use something new can feel overwhelming and time consuming. Especially in busy, every day life!

Why you need air fryer confidence

Do any of these sound like you?

  • I bought an air fryer, but never use it. Because I don’t know how!
  • I used my air fryer a few times, but nothing ever turned out good.
  • My air fryer has too many settings, and I don’t know what the differences are. So I don’t use it.
  • I keep under or over cooking food, so I just use my oven.
  • Making chips is the only thing I do in my air fryer.
  • I got tired of making costly mistakes, so gave up trying to air fry.

Buying an expensive machine and not using it is a huge waste of money. It can also cause a big knock in confidence! But not getting the most out of an air fryer is equally wasteful. If you’re only making chips, you’re missing out. BIG time!

You might have tried air frying a few times, made some mistakes, then just gave in. This can leave you feeling like you’re not good enough. Which is absolutely NOT true! You just need the right information, and a successful method to practically improve your skills, in an effective manner.

When approached the right way, you can very quickly gain the confidence you need, to become an air fryer PRO!

Who knows, you might even get to the point where you ask yourself, can an air fryer replace an oven?

10 reasons why you’re lacking in air fryer confidence

To figure out the solution to a problem, we first need to know where we’re going wrong. So let’s take a look at some of the reasons why you might be lacking the confidence you need, to use your air fryer effectively…

1. You don’t know how to use your air fryer

This is one of the biggest reasons for a lack in air fryer confidence. Getting an air fryer but not knowing how to use it (or giving yourself a chance to learn), is setting you up to fail.

2. You don’t understand the settings

It’s all well and good getting an air fryer. But if you don’t know what the settings do, and when to use each one, you’ll fall over at the first hurdle.

3. You bought the wrong type of air fryer

There are so many different types of air fryers on the market now. Not understanding which style suits you and your lifestyle best, can make your life unnecessarily difficult! Who needs more headaches??

4. You didn’t do adequate research

Buying an air fryer is great. But if you don’t really think about what you’re going to use it for, before you buy one, it can end in a lot of frustration. And the purchase of an air fryer that doesn’t work for YOU!

5. You’re worried you’ll damage the machine

This one comes down to a lack of research and knowledge. You absolutely don’t want to be using the wrong utensils, oils or cleaning products on your expensive new air fryer. It’ll only end in tears!

6. You started too BIG

If you got an air fryer and decided to make a full blown Sunday dinner as your very first thing, I’d be incredibly surprised if it all went without a hitch! There’s a better way to start your air frying journey, and it isn’t by starting too big, with a hugely overwhelming task.

7. You keep making costly mistakes

If you’re a toss it in and see what happens kind of person, you’re much more likely to make costly mistakes. And less likely to repeat your successes. Experimenting is great, but there are good and bad ways to do it.

8. You bought bad quality accessories

With the rise in air fryer popularity, it was inevitable that the accessory market would boom too. But knowing which ones are worth it, and which ones really aren’t, can save you lots of money!

9. You believed misinformation

As with anything in life, getting your information from reliable sources is SO important! There is lots of great air fryer information out there… but there’s also a lot of misinformation too. Getting your tips and air fryer recipes from someone who has actually used multiple types of air fryers for a long time, will put you at a much better starting point.

10. You’re winging it, and it went wrong

Having the confidence to just go with it and try new things is great… until it’s not. There’s a right way and a wrong way to experiment with air frying. You need to know a few things first! Or you might make costly mistakes.
