Bored of brownies? Love white chocolate? This right here is your one stop shop to heaven my friend. May I proudly present to you, these incredible One Bowl White Chocolate Chip Blondies! Not only are they insanely easy to make, they taste amazing & I guarantee they will disappear very very quickly. Sound good? Good! Let’s get started then.
Here is what you will need to make 16 bars.
(Recipe adapted from Jessica Collins)
- 115g Unsalted Butter
- 200g Soft Light Brown Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 125g Plain Flour
- 150g White Chocolate Chips
- 50g White Chocolate, To Drizzle (Optional)
- 20cm (8″) Square Baking Tin
- Large Microwavable Bowl
- Disposable Piping Bag/Plastic Food Bag (Optional)
Easy One Bowl White Chocolate Chip Blondies Recipe
Preheat your oven to 180°C/Fan 170°C and grease & line your tin with baking paper.
First cube the butter, place into a large bowl & melt in the microwave in 10 second intervals.
Then add in the sugar and give it a really good stir with a spatula.
Next add in the egg, vanilla & salt. Give it another really good stir until everything is evenly blended.
Then sift in the flour and gently fold in. Keep going only until you can’t see any more flour.
Next tip the white chocolate chips into the bowl and mix briefly to distribute.
Finally, pour the mixture into your prepared tin and level out roughly.
Then bake in your preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden on top.
Allow to cool completely before removing and slicing into 16 bars. (A 4 x 4 grid.)
To Decorate (Optional)
Place a wire rack over a piece of newspaper and lay out all the White Chocolate Chip Blondies.
Break the white chocolate into a disposable piping bag or plastic food bag & heat in the microwave in 10 second intervals until melted. Give the chocolate a good squish between each blast.
Now snip off the corner and pipe a zigzag pattern over the top of each Blondie.
Allow to set completely at room temperature and you’re done!
If you somehow manage not to immediately store your blondies in your belly, then pop them into an airtight container (preferably metal) and store at room temperature. Consume within 4-5 days. Yeah, because that’s going to be a problem?! Honestly, you are going to love these. White Chocolate Chip Blondies are definitely the way forward!
