I’m always down for a midweek meal that makes minimal pots and only takes 15 minutes to make. This gorgeous One Pot Creamy Tomato Pasta is exactly that! Did I mention it only requires 5 ingredients too? This one is a brilliantly cheap and efficient meal to have in your armoury.
One Pot Creamy Tomato Pasta – Step by Step Picture Recipe
Here is what you will need to serve 2 (easily doubled.)
Ingredients
- 220g Fusilli Pasta
- 1 x 500g Jar of Tomato & Garlic Sauce
- 85g Cream Cheese
- 400ml Water
- Salt, to taste
Essential Equipment
- Large Saucepan
Instructions
Place all the ingredients into a large saucepan over a high heat.
Bring it to the boil, giving it a good stir every now and then.
Reduce the heat so it’s nicely bubbling away but not violently. Boil for 10-12 minutes until the pasta is cooked to your liking. Stir frequently to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
When it’s cooked & the sauce is nice and thick, it’s ready for you to tuck in! Divide between 2 bowls and eat straight away. You can sprinkle with a little chopped fresh parsley if you like.
I bet you didn’t believe me that this One Pot Creamy Tomato Pasta was really that easy. Well see, I did tell you! I’m pretty sure it can’t actually get any easier than this. It’s got to be up there with one of the most ideal meals for a Mum to know.
What’s not to love? The tiny amount of pots to wash at the end? The fact that you can make it in 15 minutes? Or even that it’s only 5 ingredients and it’s cheap to make? Nope! I don’t know about you but I can’t find a reason not to love this super simple and delicious supper! Go on, give it a go for yourself. You know you want to.
