Tomato and Mozzarella Naan Pizza – Step by Step Picture Recipe
Here is what you will need to serve 2.
Ingredients
- 2 x Plain Naan Breads
- 150g/8 Small Slices of Mozzarella
- 1 Large Fresh Tomato, Sliced
- Handful of Fresh Rocket
- Balsamic Glaze, To Serve (Optional) *
*I got a pre-made bottle from my local supermarket for £1.50
Instructions
First, preheat your oven to 190°C/Fan 180°C.
Then take the naan breads out the packet and lay onto a large baking sheet. Sprinkle a little cold water over each one.
Next, evenly lay the mozzarella slices over each one.
If you haven’t already, slice the tomato into thin-ish slices. Lay them over the mozzarella on each Naan Pizza.
Place them into the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling & just starting to turn golden .
Top with a handful of rocket lettuce and drizzle with a generous amount of balsamic glaze if you’re using it. Serve immediately.
Did I not tell you that this Naan Pizza was super speedy?! Not only is it insanely quick, it’s pretty healthy, crazy delicious and easily adaptable to everyone’s tastes! Treat it like a proper pizza – you like pepperoni? Put on some pepperoni! You want peppers, onions and chorizo? Go for your life my friend.
It’s also a great recipe for the kids to help out with too. So get them to roll up their sleeves, tie on an apron and get involved! I’m convinced that including them in food preparation actually prevents them from becoming really fussy eaters. (Trust me, I was a seriously bad one!)
