One Pan Sausage and Beans Recipe
First heat the pan over a medium heat then add the oil. Fry the sausages for 5-10 minutes until browned all over.
Remove the sausages from the pan then add the onion. Fry for 2-3 minutes until softened.
Then add the garlic and carrots and fry for 5-10 minutes until the carrots are softened. If they are taking longer to cook, pop a lid on and this will speed up the process.
Next pour in the tinned tomatoes, tomato purée, vegetable stock, paprika and herbs. Give it all a good stir then season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the sausages back into the pan and bring it all to the boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Finally, stir through the drained/rinsed beans and simmer for a further 5 minutes.
Stir again and serve immediately. Scatter with a little chopped fresh parsley if you’re feeling fancy!
And there you have it! A crazy easy One Pan Sausage and Beans meal to fill your boots. This is properly delicious comfort food and would be well paired with some boiled potatoes or crusty bread.
